Jeff Mascia
Co-Founder
If forced to describe his job in three words Jeff would say, “Designing cool stuff.” Vague? Perhaps, but it reflects the spirit that ties together everything we do at Take Five Labs. When a client or user experiences his work, Jeff wants their reaction to be, “Wow, that’s awesome.”

Jeff is a lifelong tinkerer. He grew up in Connecticut and from a young age often looked for ways to make life better using LEGOs and his TI-83 calculator. As an undergraduate at Yale, Jeff studied applied physics and created a wireless performance monitoring system for rowing (the sport in which he competed at the varsity level). Jeff went on to earn his MS in electrical engineering at UCLA with a focus on networked embedded systems.

Sasank Reddy
Co-Founder
For each project that comes down the Take Five Labs pipeline, Sasank has proposed at least twenty others. Some too large, some too costly, all certifiably innovative. It comes as no surprise to us given his knack for design and a near lifetime of exposure to cutting-edge technology.

Born in India, Sasank relocated to Mississippi at the early age of six. After a childhood spent playing with the Linux server in his father’s university lab, Sasank studied computer engineering as an undergraduate at Georgia Tech. Upon earning his BS in only three years, Sasank joined Radiant Systems, a tech company specializing in point-of-sale solutions. Following his work in industry, Sasank returned to academia at UCLA where he received his MS in electrical engineering and is currently pursuing his PhD.
