We finally got around to updating our website (I blame Jeff - slacker) with some of the projects that we have been working on over the past couple of months. The first is an iPhone app that we implemented for Veritas Prep in regards to the GMAT test. The other two are projects (GarbageWatch and Biketastic) that were developed with CENS at UCLA in regards to participatory sensing. Check them out and let us know what you think!

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009Blogging from 30,000 ft
Friday, May 15th, 2009I’m currently flying somewhere high above the lower 48 on a Wi-Fi enabled Delta flight. This in itself is not news - as of today 150 of Delta’s 300 domestic planes are equipped with in-flight Wi-Fi. What surprised me is the speed and openness of the service. I was worried that streaming audio/video might be rough and that anything fun or useful would be blocked. Quite the contrary: I’m watching TV on Hulu without any problems, AIM and Skype work fine (including voice calls), and SSH is open so I can tunnel out if anything is in fact blocked. Nice work, Gogo.
